Restaurants & QSR

Restaurant & QSR BPO Services | Guest Care and Franchise Support

Restaurant support has a structural problem no script solves cleanly: the brand owns the standard, the franchisee owns the restaurant, and the guest complaining about a cold order does not know or care about the difference. Support has to satisfy the guest without directing a business the brand does not operate.

Global Empire Corporation supports US restaurant brands, QSR chains and franchise groups across guest care, ordering support and franchisee escalation — with the brand-versus-franchisee boundary built into the routing rather than left to the agent.

Guest Recovery Without Overstepping the Franchise Agreement

A guest complaint is a brand problem and a location problem simultaneously. The brand needs the guest recovered and the pattern recorded; the franchisee needs to be informed rather than instructed. Getting this wrong in either direction is costly — over-reach damages the franchise relationship, under-reach leaves guests unrecovered and patterns invisible.

We route on rules agreed with you: what support resolves centrally, what goes to the location, what escalates to a field consultant, and what is logged as a pattern even when the individual case closes.

  • Central resolution for what the brand owns, routing for what the location owns
  • Location-level patterns logged and reported even when individual cases close cleanly
  • Food safety and allergen contacts pulled out of the general queue immediately
  • Recovery authority defined so agents settle a complaint without a franchisee call

Restaurant Support We Deliver

  • Guest Care & Recovery

Complaints handled to resolution with recovery authority defined, so the guest is not asked to call the restaurant back.

  • Food Safety Escalation

Allergen errors and illness reports routed out of the standard queue on contact into your safety process.

  • Order & Delivery Support

Issues with app, web and third-party delivery orders, including where the fault sits with a delivery partner.

  • Franchisee Support Desk

A separate line for operators: systems, supply, marketing programs and escalations from their own guests.

  • Loyalty & App Support

Account, points, offer and app problems, which is where a large share of brand contact volume now sits.

  • Catering & Large Orders

Capturing and routing catering inquiries with the detail a location needs to quote and deliver.

  • Location & Hours Inquiries

High-volume, low-complexity contact handled without occupying the recovery queue.

  • Pattern & Insight Reporting

Complaint themes by location, daypart and product, so operations sees the trend rather than the tickets.

How a Restaurant Program Gets Built

The routing rules come first. Everything else is training against a boundary that has already been agreed.

  1. Draw the boundary

Agree what support resolves centrally, what routes to the location, and what reaches a field consultant, with worked examples.

  2. Set recovery authority

Define what an agent may offer without approval, because a recovery that needs a callback is usually not a recovery.

  3. Safety carve-out

Route allergen and illness contacts out of the queue immediately, with a rehearsed handoff to your safety process.

  4. Instrument the patterns

Tag by location, daypart and product from day one so trend reporting exists before anyone asks for it.

  5. Stand up the franchisee desk

Operators need their own line with different tone and different access, not the guest queue.

Frequently asked questions

How do you handle a complaint about a franchised location?

Recover the guest centrally where authority allows, then inform the location rather than instruct it. The brand's contract with a franchisee generally does not permit directing day-to-day operations, so the support role is resolution plus visibility: the guest gets an outcome, the operator gets the detail, and the pattern is recorded so repeated issues at one location become visible to field management.

What happens with an allergen or illness report?

It leaves the general queue on first contact. Agents follow a defined script to establish what was consumed, what reaction occurred and whether medical attention was sought, capture the location, time and order detail, and hand to your food safety process immediately. These are not closed with a voucher and they are not measured on handle time.

Can you support third-party delivery complaints?

Yes, and it is a growing share of restaurant contact. The complication is fault: a cold or missing order may be the kitchen, the courier, or the platform, and the guest contacts whoever they associate with the brand. We resolve for the guest inside your policy, record where the fault actually sat, and report the split so you can hold delivery partners to account with data.

Do franchisees get their own support line?

They should. Operator contacts are operational rather than emotional — supply, systems, marketing programs, escalations from their own guests — and they need agents with different training and different access. Routing operators through the guest queue is a reliable way to frustrate the people running your restaurants.

How much volume is app and loyalty support?

More than most brands expect, and it grows every year as ordering moves into the app. Points not credited, offers not applying, account lockouts and payment failures are now a substantial share of brand contact, and they are technical support rather than guest care. Staffing them from the recovery queue slows both.

What reporting should we expect?

Complaint themes broken down by location, daypart and product, not just volume and satisfaction. The individual complaint is a guest problem; the pattern is an operations problem, and it is the reporting that turns a support cost into something field management can act on. Instrument the tagging at launch, because retrofitting it loses the history.

What does restaurant support cost?

It follows contact volume across the estate, the number of locations and brands, whether the franchisee desk is in scope, hours of coverage, and how much recovery authority agents hold. Higher agent authority costs more per contact and usually less per resolved complaint. We quote per program.
