Virtual Assistant Services | Dedicated Remote Assistants, Managed for You
Virtual Assistant
Virtual assistant services give you a trained remote assistant — for administration, scheduling, inbox and calendar management, customer follow-up, research, data entry or outbound calling — without recruiting, payroll or supervision on your side. The assistant works your hours, in your tools, as part of your team. What separates a managed service from a freelancer is what happens when they are ill, leave, or need telling that the work is not right: that becomes our problem rather than yours.
Global Empire Corporation places dedicated virtual assistants backed by the management structure of a 25-year outsourcing operation: recruitment, training, quality checks, secure working practices and cover when your assistant is away.

A Dedicated Assistant, With a Manager You Never Have to Be
Most disappointing virtual assistant arrangements fail for the same reason. The assistant was capable; nobody had time to manage them. Tasks were handed over in fragments, feedback never arrived, and within a few months the assistant was under-used and the client was back to doing the work at night.
A managed service puts a team leader behind every assistant. They handle onboarding, check the work, track whether the hours are being used well, and arrange cover for leave. You give direction on what needs doing; the supervision, attendance and performance conversations are ours.

How It Works
The handover decides whether an assistant saves you time in week two or costs you time in month three.

- Define the Role — We list the tasks, tools, hours and the judgment the role needs, and tell you honestly whether it is one assistant's work or two.
- Match and Meet — We shortlist assistants with the right skills and working hours, and you speak to them before anything starts.
- Document as You Hand Over — Each task is written up as it is transferred, so the knowledge belongs to your business rather than to one person.
- Supervised First Month — A team leader reviews the work closely in the early weeks and adjusts scope with you.
- Review and Extend — Regular check-ins on what else could be delegated. Most clients hand over more once the first tasks run without them.
What to Delegate First, and What to Keep
The instinct is to delegate the tasks you dislike. The better rule is to delegate the tasks that are frequent, describable and low in irreversible consequences. Frequent, because repetition is what makes an assistant fast and what repays the time spent explaining. Describable, because if you cannot say what good looks like, nobody can deliver it. Low in irreversible consequences, because early mistakes should be cheap to correct.
By that test, calendar management, inbox triage, data entry, CRM updates, appointment confirmations, invoice chasing and first-pass research are excellent starting points. Work that depends on relationships you hold personally, on commercial judgment, or on authority to commit the business is usually better kept until trust is established — and some of it should stay with you permanently. An assistant should extend your capacity, not impersonate your judgment.
The hidden benefit of doing this properly is documentation. Writing down how a task is done, in order to hand it over, is often the first time it has been written down at all. Businesses that keep those notes find that the next hire, the next assistant and the next holiday all become easier, because the process no longer lives in one person's head. It is worth insisting that your provider maintains them as part of the service rather than treating them as a one-off onboarding exercise.

- Delegate work that is frequent, describable and cheap to correct
- Keep relationship, judgment and commitment decisions until trust is earned
- Expect the first month to cost time before it saves time
- Process notes written for handover are an asset — make sure they are kept current

Frequently asked questions
What do virtual assistant services include?
A remote assistant for administrative, scheduling, inbox, customer follow-up, data entry, research and calling tasks, plus the management around them: recruitment, training, supervision, quality checks and cover for absence. You direct the work; we manage the person.
Is the assistant dedicated to our business?
Yes. You work with the same named assistant, who learns your tools, your clients and your preferences. For smaller requirements, part-time dedicated arrangements are available.
What hours do virtual assistants work?
Your hours. We recruit for the time zone and schedule you need, including North American business hours, and can extend cover into evenings and weekends with additional assistants.
How is confidential information protected?
Through confidentiality agreements, role-based access to only the systems needed, managed devices and secure connections, and password management rather than shared credentials. For regulated data we agree the specific controls before access is granted.
What happens if our assistant is away or leaves?
We arrange cover, using the task documentation maintained during the engagement, and handle replacement and retraining if an assistant moves on. Continuity is the main reason clients choose a managed service over hiring directly.
How is this different from hiring a freelancer?
A freelancer leaves recruitment, supervision, backup and security to you, and often serves several clients at once. A managed service supplies a dedicated person with a team leader, cover and enforced working practices behind them.
